COVID 19 Update

With challenges posed by COVID-19, the James River Association is asking participants to help us run programs as safely as possible.
What has changed

• All rentals must be booked 24 hours in advance through our website.
  
• No walk-up rentals/trips, cash or in person transactions will be offered.
  
• All waivers from all participants must be signed digitally prior to arriving.
  
• Participants will meet our staff outside to verify identity, receive their safety talk and get equipment.
  
• Masks are required in our bathrooms.
• No shuttles or shuttling services will be offered at this time.
  

What we are doing

• All equipment will be staged prior to your rental time, and disinfected regularly by staff.
• Social distancing will be adhered to, and masks will be required if social distancing is not possible.
  

What we need you to do

• Delay any booking or immediately cancel reservations if you, or anyone in your household, have experienced any Covid symptoms in the 14 days prior to your trip. We also ask you to refrain from activity if you have knowingly been in contact with anyone with confirmed COVID-19 within 14 days prior to this activity.
  
• Bring adequate drinking water, and know where local stores are in case you need to purchase additional water.
• Bring a mask and help staff maintain a 6 foot distance from all customers.
